Chicago Resource Fair for Kids Impacted by a Parent or Guardian’s Cancer [March]

Join Pickles Group and special community partners on Tuesday, March 14, for our first-ever Chicago Resource Fair for Kids Impacted by a Parent or Guardian’s Cancer.

This virtual resource fair will feature short presentations from six local support organizations. Afterward, we will offer optional breakout sessions where you can meet staff from each organization.

Please share broadly with folks who can benefit and check out our Community Partners:

  • Cancer Wellness Center provides free supportive care, education and wellness programs to families and children affected by cancer.

  • Gilda’s Club Chicago provides free social and emotional support for anyone impacted by any type of cancer.

  • Kesem Northwestern provides a week-long free summer camp and year-round support to kids impacted by a parent or guardian’s cancer.

  • Pickles Group provides free peer-to-peer support and resources to kids affected by a parent’s cancer.

  • Rainbows for All Children supports youth ages 3-25 through the hurt of grief to healing and hope by connecting them with free age-appropriate group support in their communities.

  • Willow House supports youth, families, schools and communities grieving the death of a parent, sibling or child through free peer support groups, school programming and community services.

Who Can Attend: Families, mental health professionals, schools, and community organizations are invited to learn about Chicago Area programs and resources for children impacted by a parent or guardian’s cancer.
