National Virtual Youth Empower Program [Fall 2022 Cohort]

Pickles Group’s successful activity-based peer group model for kids affected by a parent’s cancer is now offered nationally through our Youth Empower virtual program launching this September. Youth will build relationships with friends who get them in a safe, supportive, fun environment online by meeting every-other-week from September 18 OR September 25 through November 13. Example themes include learning about cancer and identifying and expressing feelings in healthy ways. Program dates are:

  • Sunday, September 18 OR Sunday, September 25

  • Sunday, October 2

  • Sunday, October 16

  • Sunday, October 30

  • Sunday, November 13

Please note that all event times are in Central Time.

Location: Virtual (Zoom) from 4:00-5:30pm CT

Event Type: Online Youth Peer Group Meetings

Who Can Attend: New and existing Pickles youth navigating a parent or guardian’s cancer diagnosis. We serve kids and teens ages 6-18.

Registration: Please complete our in-person youth registration form if you are a new Pickles family no later than Tuesday, September 13 to receive program information for the September 18 start date, or September 20 for the September 25 start date.
